Mrs. Pearl Little Succumbs To
Major Operation

Galena, Sept. 26 — Mrs. Lucy Pearl Little, 41 years old, wife of Charles Little, Twenty-second and Main streets, died at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in Freeman hospital at Joplin following a major operation this morning.

Mrs. Little had been ill for some time. She was a long time resident of Galena.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Jimmie Little, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Bailey, Twenty-third and Main streets, Galena; and two brothers, Ben Bailey and Wallace Bailey, both of Galena.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Clark funeral chapel, with the Rev. Roy Wade officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest cemetery.
