Bobby Ray Taylor age 65 of the Short Mountain area, passed away at St. Thomas West Hospital Friday morning January 28, 2022. He was born November 11, 1956 to his parents, the late George and Minnie Estes Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Taylor; step-son, Leonard Johnson; and sister, Tammy Davenport. Mr. Taylor attended Mt. Aarat Church and worked for Cannon County Highway Department and Hillis Group as a truck driver.
He is survived by brothers, Randall Taylor of Short Mountain, and Russell Taylor of Woodbury; sisters, Brenda Barrett of Short Mountain and Georgene (Jeffery) Grisham of Short Mountain; grandchildren, Brad (Brandi) Johnson, Melissa Johnson, and Debra Johnson; niece, Brenda (Wayne) Lattimore; great nieces, Miranda, Serenity, and Brandi; great-nephew, Joshua Grisham; special friend and caregiver, Mark Pryor and special friend, Jerry "Frog" Estes.
