Charles Robert "Bob" Wood, 83, of Bremen Drive in Lexington, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.
Mr. Wood was born December 24, 1938, in Randolph County West Virginia to James Morgan Wood and Mary Stifler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joan Lea Kramer Wood.
Left to cherish his memories are his son; Scott Wood (Beverly) of Tennessee; one daughter, Lori Craven (Tim) of Lexington; two brothers, Jim Wood (Sharon) of Kansas, John Wood of West Virginia; and one sister, Jean Shannon of Florida.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Pearson officiating services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation 1852 Banking Street, Greensboro NC 27408.
