PERKINS, Jean Mason Isbell, 87, of Chesterfield, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Stuart Perkins; her parents, Floyd Mason Isbell and Virginia Revelle Robinson Isbell; sisters, Marion "Geggie" Lee Isbell Epps and Joyce Ann Isbell; and many beloved Perkins in-laws. She is survived by her children, Donna McGhee (David), Vicki Welch (Bob), Stuart M. Perkins, Laura Adams (Chris); 10 grandchildren, Megan McGhee Stellwag (Zac), Mason McGhee (Jennifer), Curtis Welch, Greer Perkins Vivonetto (Marc), Evan Perkins, Caleb Adams (Spencer), Alayna Adams, Zachary Adams (fiancee, Helen), Grace Adams, Eli Adams; great-grandchildren, Julianna Stellwag, Madelyn Stellwag, Colton Stellwag, Bennett Stellwag, Taylor Burke, Stellan Vivonetto, Wilder Adams, Aviah Barron, Isaiah Barron; great-great-grandchild, Addilyn Barnes; and dozens of nieces and nephews. Jean was a longtime member of Branch's Baptist Church. During her lifetime, she enjoyed cooking, "yard-sailing," antiquing and vegetable gardening, but her greatest joy was always her family. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Branch's Baptist Church, with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Branch's Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3400 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, Va. 23234.
