Two years later, he made his television debut on the television movie "Ein Sommer-ein Herbst." He went on to appear in numerous German television series such as "Der Kommissar," "John Ralling - Abenteuer um Diamanten," "Bier und Spiele," "Jauche und Levkojen," "Der Fahnder," "SOKO 5113," "Schloßhotel Orth," "Love on Lake Garda," and "Leipzig Homicide." In 1970, he made his "big screen" debut in the film "Der Bettenstudent oder Was mach' ich mit den Mädchen?." Besides "Escape from Sobibor," he would later appear in such films as "O.K.," (1970) "He Who Loves in a Glass House," (1971) "A Bridge Too Far," (1977) and "Montag kommen die Fenster." (2006)
