Born in Pickens County, he was a son of Roy Fred Couch and the late Annie Bernice Grant Couch. He was retired from Duke Energy, was a member of HeartSound Quartet. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church where he was a former Sunday school teacher and deacon for many years.
Surviving is his father, Roy Fred Couch of Pickens; his wife, Marlene Alexander Couch of the home; a daughter, Lindsey Michelle Couch of the home; a son, Matthew Grant Couch of the home; a sister, Catherine Ellenburg of Pickens; and a brother, Fred Couch of Pickens.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of "Moose" Couch will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lakeview Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Liberty Mortuary.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
