Cho graduated from R.L. Downing High School, attended Hibbing Junior College, and also took a correspondence course in accounting from LaSalle University. During the war years, she held clerical jobs at Eastern Aircraft and Panelyte in Trenton, N.J.
She married Harold 'Hal' Turpin in Morrisville, Pa., on Feb. 8, 1947, and they moved to Keewatin in 1949. She worked for Commercial Credit Corporation, was clerk of Public Utilities in Keewatin for 10 years, secretary/bookkeeper for Arnold Manufacturing, Pengilly, and secretary at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Keewatin, until her retirement in 1988.
She was active in civic affairs, serving on the library board, assisting with the children's Halloween parties and worked with the July Fourth Committees. Cho was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, serving as secretary; a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5516 Auxiliary, serving as secretary, president, trustee and also Eighth District secretary, and the Keewatin Senior Citizens. Cho was a devoted member of St. Mary's Church, working with youth groups, serving on parish finance councils, a member of C.C.W., St. Catherine's Circle, and she was involved with most fundraisers.
Cesarina is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara McGettrick Turpin; granddaughters: Andrea Turpin, and Eileen Turpin; and a sister, Rosa Herring
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal, in 1975; by her son, Pat, in 1990, by a sister, Diana DiGalbo, and by her parents.
