Linda Clark Bailey, age 77, of Bland, VA, went on to be with the Lord on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital after a short illness.
She was born June 9, 1944, in Bland, VA, the daughter of the late Bernard & Beatrice Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Meek & Beatrice Sarver Clark, her brothers, Ralph, Larry, Steve, and Wayne Clark, her sister, Patsy Puryear, and her sister-in-law, Frances Clark.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 57 years, Timothy Wade Bailey; her daughter & son-in-law, Sherry & Joe Lechaton; her sons & daughters-in-law, Darren & Cindy Bailey, and Duane & Brenda Bailey; her grandsons, Austin & Summer Lechaton, Garrett Bailey and Nicholas Bailey; her granddaughters, Heather & Joseph Morin and Brianna Bailey; a special niece, Tammy Stowers; her brothers & sisters-in-law, Charles & Judy Clark, Jackie Clark, Ray & Barbara Clark, and Yancy Clark; her sisters & brother-in-law, Peggy & Jimmy DeHart, Shelia Clark, Charlene Reed, and Barry Puryear; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Wilderness Lighthouse Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Hollybrook, with her nephew, Kirk DeHart, officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 1:00 P.M. Due to recent increased activity of the Covid virus, those attending are asked to wear masks and to follow social distancing guidelines. This service will be live-streamed on YouTube, for those unable to attend. The Bailey family is in the care of A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate.
