He was the son of the late Judson Branch and the late Pauline (Gillard) Branch and was born Sunday, June 11, 1933, in Steelton.
Marlin was a graduate of the former Swatara High School.
He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Marlin retired as a Foreman from Bethlehem Steel Corporation as well as retirement from the Perry County Prison.
He was united in Christian fellowship with Monumental African Methodist Episcopal Church, Steelton.
In addition to his parents, Marlin was preceded in death by his daughter: Heather Branch; his siblings; and, his other loved ones.
He leaves to reminisce and share many special memories - his wife: Judy Branch of Newport; his daughters: Rev. Michele Branch of Harrisburg, Lucretia Young of Newark, Delaware, and Jennifer Branch of Newport; his sons: Marlin Branch, Jr. of Harrisburg, Marlin Branch of Harrisburg, and Judson Branch of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; his fourteen grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; his one great-great-grandchild; his sisters: Marzetta Roberts of Oberlin and Jeanette Perry of Inglewood, California; his other relatives; and, his friends.
A Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Wallace Funeral Directors. A private family Celebration will begin at 12:00 PM.
interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 02:00 PM.
