On Saturday, January 15, 2022, Constance E. Brown, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away at the age of 89, just two days shy of her 90th birthday.

She was born to Harris and Susan on January 17, 1932.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan, her grand dog Delilah Rose, son, Gene Michael, daughter-in-law, Letty, granddaughter, Samantha and grandson, Alexander. Nieces, Deborah Canaday, (Chris), Donna Whittaker, (Randy), Carol Simon, (Pete) and many more nieces and nephews.

After graduating from business school, Connie worked in Harry Baylis' Garage (as his bookkeeper) where she met her husband, Michael Brown. Together, she and Michael had two children, Susan and Gene and enjoyed 36 years of marriage.

Later in life, Connie met her forever fiancé, Richard. Together, they moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where they enjoyed playing golf, traveling, swimming, and the sunshine and blue skies of Florida.

Connie loved to travel! Her adventures took her to many exciting locales. These were her top three favorites:

~To the Holy Land and Israel where she floated on the Dead Sea and rode a "smelly camel."

~Winning the Grand Prize from Sands Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. She and her daughter, Susan, flew on the now decommissioned Concord to Paris. They explored the "City of Lights" by climbing the Eiffel Tower, visiting Jim Morrison's grave, and exploring Notre Dame and the Louvre.
Wanting to see the lily ponds and gardens of Claude Monet, they traveled to Giverney (his homestead) and marveled at the beautiful gardens, Wisteria bridge, and famous lily ponds.

~The family cruise on Royal Caribbean International with her grandchildren, Samantha and Alex, daughter-in-law, Letty and daughter, Susan.

Her favorite mode of travel was cruising. She went on 31 cruises and achieved "Diamond" status on Royal Caribbean International.

Connie was always active and loved bowling, Tai Chi, walking, and was a "wicked good" Bocce player. She also loved a good game of Bingo.

Connie had a sweet tooth and loved dessert. She was a great baker and loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious desserts, such as cookies, brownies, Texas sheet cake, Lemon Meringue Pie, and Coconut Cake as after school treats for her children.

Connie loved butterflies, the color purple, and anything that "sparkles." Please consider wearing something purple, sparkly, or with butterflies to her service.

Connie's family will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest, being kind, and eating dessert first.

The family of Connie would like to thank Kindred Hospice and her care team in the Daybreak Area at the Birches of Newtown for the loving care they provided during her stay with them.
