Gerald was awarded The French Legion of Honour Medal for service in Bomber Command in WW11, Rear Gunner 186th Lancaster Squadron. Presented at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, Victoria on the 23 Nov 2015.

P/O Gerald Murray McPherson with the Lancaster Bomber in the background.
Gerald was the Rear Gunner with the 186th Crew in Bomber Command.
Flew a total of 37 Missions with his Crew.
