Friday, December 24, 2021, Jane Weger loving wife and mother peacefully passed away and went to be with the Lord, at the age or 94. Jane was born September 21, 1927, in Oakfield, WI to Rev. John and Emma (Bader) Dowidat. On June 19, 1948, she was married by her father to Howard O. Weger of Strawberry Point, IA who had been a WWII pilot. He was completing his Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Iowa, and they lived in married student housing. A meticulous housewife, Jane almost single-handedly raised all three sons, as Howard traveled extensively with his job. She frugallymanage household finances and taught the boys to be successful professionals and entrepreneurs. Her passions were golf, stained glass, piano, garage sales and cooking. She loved music and grew up playing the organ in church. Because of her competitive spirit, her retirement years found her playing pinochle, dominos and bingo. She also enjoyed being a helping hand to others. She will be greatly missed. Jane was preceded in death by her father John, mother Emma and loving husband Howard. She is survived by her three sons Scott (AZ) , John (FL) and Kurtis (TX), as well as four grandchildren Erika, Jarrett, Matthew, Jack and niece, Lori Lauman.
