Born April 1, 1942 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Simpson and Nora McCubbins Simpson. Mrs. Robinson was formerly of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
Alice was a member of the Morgantown Church of Christ. She enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School and being part of the Wednesday Senior Bible Study.
Before retiring she was a manager in the hospitality industry. She previously was also a long-time member of the Marlborough Fish and Game Association.
Above all, Alice loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and a Christian. Alice was deeply loved and will forever be remembered and missed.
Predeceased by her parents and siblings, Alice joins them and her late husband Raymond Robinson Jr. in heaven.
She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Robinson and partner Amanda Haskell of Warren, Kelly Orcutt of Worcester, Massachusetts, Gloria Piracci of Athol, Massachusetts, and Lisa Hyde and husband David of Morgantown, West Virginia; eight cherished grandchildren, Alice Lapierre, Sean Robinson, Erica Molina, Maegen Robinson, Raymond Robinson, Nicholas Piracci, Taylor Piracci, and Katrina Hyde; twelve great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, David Faneuf; sister-in-law, Donna Jost; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be held at Achorn Cemetery Rockland, Maine in the spring.
The family has been provided with care and guidance locally by Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover / Morgantown, and in Maine by Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, Maine.
