Bobbie Ette (Janes) Jessee, 83, wife of the late Charles Jessee, passed away at home with her family on Tuesday June 9, 2020.

She was born to the late Jim and Della (Montgomery) Janes in Adair County KY on January 1, 1937. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Ray Janes and William Thomas Janes, and grandson Donald Gene McQueen.

Bobbie retired from Jefferson County Public Schools and moved to Columbia KY to farm with her late husband until their health would not let them do it any longer.

She was caregiver to her husband when he developed dementia and later diagnosed with dementia herself.

She was a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She loved to cook, sew, crochet, garden, and she loved her family and did all she could for them. She loved when the great grandkids come to visit and stay with her.

Bobbie is survived by her children Judith "Judy" McQueen and Rev. Kenneth Jessee (Regina), grandchildren Patricia A. Jacobs, Joseph A. Jessee, Diana E. Tandy, Joyanna L. Phelps (Clinton), and Skylar Wooden. Great-grandchildren, Leslie III, Martin, William, Malik, Madison, William Jr., Trinity, TaShawn, Devontae, Carrington, Ty'Ron, Nevaeh, Sawyer, and adopted as a grandchild Taranic Tandy.

Bobbie will be greatly missed, and life will not be the same without her.
