Mr. Sprague died today, Jan. 18, 1993, at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center in Kansas City, Kan.
He was born April 11, 1911, in Guymon, Okla., to Henry M. and Dora M. Simonson Sprague.
Moving from Kansas City, Kan., Mr. Sprague lived in Leavenworth County for 50 years.
He was a farmer and also worked 20 years for General Motors in the process engineering department. He was a member of the General Motors Retirees' Club.
His first wife, Ruth M. Sprague, died Nov. 25, 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Louise O. Sprague; a son, George L. Jr., Tonganoxie; a daughter, Juanita A. DeMaranville, Tonganoxie, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
