Mr. Michael Phil Keener, age 52, of Hickory died Sunday, November 30, 2003 at his home.
A graveside service will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens in Moravian Falls in Wilkes County.
Mr. Keener was born June 9, 1951 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Vance and Anna McLaughlin Keener, Sr.. He worked for Catawba Valley Bank and for many years owned and operated Keener Sandblasting. He was a member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Michelle Pontello Keener of the home; two sons, Seth Ramon Keener, Zachary James Keener both of the home; one grandson, James Riley Keener; his father, Vance Keener of Brewerton, NY; one sister, Susan Calandra of Blossvale, NY; two brothers, Vance W. Keener, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Gregory C. Keener of Constantia, NY.
