He was born November 5, 1933, in Chillicothe, to the late Clifford Sr. and Lillian Yerian Mortimer.
Surviving are a sister; a brother; niece; a great-nephew and a great-niece, eight nieces and nephews and brother-in-law; and several great nieces and nephews.
Mort was predeceased by, a sister and brother-in-law, Audrey "Wanda" and George Tatman, a sister, Patricia Daniels; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mortimer
Clifford was a graduate of Huntington High School Class of 1954.
He was a member of The Friends of the Chillicothe Public Library and Grace Fellowship Church.
He liked traveling, fishing, going to auto races and was a Civil War and history buff. Clifford Retired from Chillicothe Holiday Inn, after many years of service.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in the Ware Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Ware Funeral Home.
