Frieda was born Dec. 19, 1909, in Russia to the late John and Julia Werner. She came to the United States in 1911, as a 2-year-old. The family settled in the Sheboygan area. She attended local schools.
In 1931, she married Dennis Kinney in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1965.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (William) Adelhelm of Brooklyn, N.Y., and her son, Dennis Kinney of Sheboygan; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a special niece, Edith (John) Orlenko of Sheboygan.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels. The Rev. Gregory S. Whelton, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
