As a small child, Georgia moved from Columbia, TN to Pontiac, MI with her family. Georgia was baptized at an early age and attended the Pontiac School District. In Georgia's early 20's, she moved to Chicago, IL and made Chicago her home. She met and married Thedda Liddell, who passed away in 1965. She later met William Lawrence Blake and married in May of 1968. Georgia remained in Chicago for a few years after her husband William Lawrence death in 1997 and moved back to Pontiac, MI in 2003 to be with her 2 Sisters, Roselee Walls and Mildred Taylor.
Georgia loved her family, loved to cook and had a very giving heart.
Mrs. Georgia Octavene Brown-Blake was preceded in death by her husbands, 3 sons, parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
