Larry D. Lewis, age 69 of Tyler, Texas, passed into his eternal home on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Sunday, June 8, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Lewis served in the United States Air Force for 21 and a half years as a telephone and circuitry equipment technician. He loved his country, his family, as well as his church family.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Lewis; daughters, Michele Sledge, Christy Colvin and husband Michael and son, John Lewis; grandsons, Jesse Lewis and Benjamin Sledge and granddaughter, Abigail Lewis.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ardith and Catholeen Lewis and one brother, Dwight Lewis.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Pets Fur People of Tyler or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
