Mrs. Jarvis was born in Wilkes County, January 17, 1912, to Ranson and Maggie Long Staley. She was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church.
Her husband, Noah Thomas Jarvis, Jr, preceded Mrs. Jarvis in death.
Mrs. Jarvis is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Morrow of Inman, SC; two sons, Roland Gray Jarvis of Wilkesboro and daughter in law, Jean and Noah Thomas Jarvis, III of North Wilkesboro and daughter in law, Elizabeth; three sisters, Mrs. George (Nadine) Sale, Marie Miller both of North Wilkesboro, and Eileen Howard of Winston Salem; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
