George is my GGGrandfather. I believe he is the son of Electa (???) Harrington (b.1796 in VT) but I haven't been able to prove this. NY census says he had two sisters, Lucy and Jane. George married Judith R. (Bennett) Harrington on July 2, 1850 in Lockport, NY. He was a roofing/tile maker in NY before becoming a farmer in Sleepy Eye, MN.
