Their children were Francis McGuire ROYSE, Frederick ROYSE, William ROYSE, Aaron V. ROYSE, Rachael ROYSE, Martha ROYSE, Mary ROYSE, Hiram ROYSE, James ROYCE, Anna ROYSE and John Henry ROYSE.

With his wife Mary, daughter Martha (age 12), he died of cholera.
