Olan Cooper, 92, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007, in Fort Worth. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the Central Baptist Church with Revs. James Brigham and James Clawson officiating. Burial will be in the Roby Cemetery, directed by Adams Funeral Home.

Born November 7, 1915, in Fisher County, Olan was the son of the late Paris Denwiddie and Linnie (Campbell) Cooper. He graduated from Roby High School and married Mamie Lois Davis February 2, 1935, in Roby. She passed away December 1, 1998.

Olan moved to Hamlin in 1952 and worked as a building contractor. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Olan moved to Granbury in 2002 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Granbury.

One brother and three sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sue Cooper of Granbury; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Keith Jackson of Abilene; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007, at Adams Funeral Home in Hamlin.
