Eva Joyce "Joy" Hodges, age 87, of Crockett passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Crockett Medical Center. Joy was born December 3, 1934 in Crockett to parents, Allen Elliott Woolley and Vera Mae Rich Woolley. Joy was a graduate of Crockett High School. She owned and operated Joy's Smart Shop for many years and was a great cook and loved cooking for everyone. She took care of her daughter, Lynette for 13 years after being diagnosed with MS. Joy was a longtime member of the Shady Grove First Baptist Church and loved being involved in her church. Not only was she the best mother, she was everyone's Nanna. She was preceded in death by daughter, Lynette Hodges; parents, Allen and Vera Woolley; brothers, Armond Woolley, Don Woolley; and sister, Sandra Holcomb.
Funeral services for Eva Joyce "Joy" Hodges will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles L mother, she was everyone's Nanna.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Carol Lynette Hodges; parents, Allen and Vera Woolley; brothers, Armond Woolley, Don Woolley; and sister, Sandra Holcomb.

Funeral services for Eva Joyce "Joy" Hodges will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles Lowery and Dr. Tim Allen officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
