Born in West Roxbury Massachusetts to John A. Sullivan Sr. and Alice G. (Tucker) Sullivan, Barbara spent her most recent years in Medfield, Massachusetts. She is predeceased by her brother John A. Sullivan, Jr of Westwood, Massachusetts, and Ruth A. Sullivan of West Roxbury.

Barbara worked for many years at the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank; retiring from the position of Vice President to care for her elderly parents. She also served as President of the Women in Banking Association as well as other positions within this organization. She moved to Medfield allowing her to be closer to her family. Not done sharing her talents, she also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Pope John Paul BioEthics Center in Boston until they relocated to Philadelphia. She spent many hours at St. Edward's in Medfield helping with the choral music and office support and participated in the choir for many years.

Barbara enjoyed many weekends at youth sporting events cheering on her great nieces and nephews, in the audience at school plays, band concerts, and parades. Her favorite time of all was family Sunday Dinners.

She will be missed by her nieces and nephews.
