522 Sergeant Peter Murrie, 6th South Australian Imperial Bushmen. Lived in Georgetown, Northern Areas, South Australia. Worked as a jounalist, editor and businessman. Volunteered for service in South Africa during the Second Anglo Boer War. Died of enteric fever (typhoid) at 17 General Hospital, Standerton, Transvaal aged 39 years.
