Violet Raquet, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, formerly of Howards Grove (Ada), passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Pine Haven Christian Home. Violet was born September 25, 1929, in the town of Sheboygan Falls, to the late Edwin and Erna (Braun) Mog. She was baptized and confirmed at Saron United Church of Christ. She attended school in Johnsonville. On May 21, 1949, she married Lester Dirks at Saron United Church of Christ. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1996. On April 12, 1997, she married Eugene Raquet at Bethel United Church of Christ in Town Herman. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2015. Violet was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, a member of the Ladies Aid, sang in the church choir, was a Sunday School teacher and served on various committees and on the church consistory. She looked forward to and enjoyed time spent with her family, friends and the card clubs she belonged to. Violet liked to bake cakes and cookies and prepare Thanksgiving dinner. She also enjoyed tending her garden and flowers, needlework, crocheting and sewing most of her own clothing. She especially enjoyed sewing her grand-daughter's Christmas dresses and some of their prom dresses.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Allen (Connie) Dirks, Howards Grove, Kevin (Kristie) Dirks, Howards Grove and Keith (Stephanie) Dirks, Platteville; five grandchildren, Jennifer Olson, Jody Dirks, Bradley (Courtney) Dirks, Stephanie (Chimaobi) Mbanoso and Jamie (Kevin) Weidemann; her great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Tucker, Hayes, William, Magdelena, Ella, Micah, Makenna, Kameron, Addilyn. She is further survived by her step-daughter, Jaclyn (Tom) Krueger, Grafton; her step-son, James (Pamela) Raquet; 4 step-grandchildren, Andrew (Christine) Krueger, Allison (Peter) Catalano, Eric (Katie) Raquet and Dana (Brian) Dunton; 8 step-great-grandchildren, Theodore, Corinne, Christian, Gus, Greta, Emmerick Irelyn and Leo.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, Lester Dirks and Eugene Raquet, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Hilda, a son David, her sisters, Nelda Gumm and Elvera Dassow, her brother, Kenneth Mog, father and mother-in-law, Emil and Amanda Dirks, her brothers-in-law, Elmer and Erwin Dirks, Elmer Gumm, Donald Dassow Vernon Raquet and her sisters-in-law, Alvira Dirks and Evelyn Dirks.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at Bethel United Church of Christ, (W4225 County Line Rd, Elkhart Lake) with Rev. Diane Cayemberg officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the Church, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Please visit www.meiselwitzfh.com to send online condolences.
