She was married to Bobby Dean Gibson on June 6, 1958.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bobby Dean Gibson of the residence; one son, Andrew D. Gibson, and wife, Andra of Chatham; three daughters, Kimberly G. Worley and husband, Tim of Gretna, Rhonda G. Gammon and husband, Tim of Gretna, and Faith G. Adkins of Gretna; three sisters, Brenda P. Rowland of Long Island, Vivian P. Dawson of Rustburg, and Donna P. Clemmons and husband, Steve of Las Vegas, Nevada; 14 grandchildren, Andrea G. Bowling (Marshall), Grace E. Worley, Fallon G. Melton (Brandon), Becca G. Davila, Kayla G. Jamerson (Kevin), Seth A. Gammon, Hillary W. Mayhew (Phillip), Hannah W. Barley (Derek), Matthew C. Gibson (Emily), Hunter G. Adkins, Bryce A. Adkins, Kylee Hipp, Kayley Hipp, and Kelsey Hipp; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Weatherford Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by Elder Troy Simpson and Elder Raymond Goad. Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna is assisting the family.
