Shirley Ann Padgett, 83, of Haughton, LA went to sleep and woke up with Jesus on November 4, 2021.

Shirley was born in Greenville, SC. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was full of life, love, and laughter with a little bit of a mischievous side. Mamaw loved to spend her time sitting in her rocking chair and listening to her favorite gospel music. And she absolutely loved her family and spending time with them.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Larry Padgett; their two daughters, Teresa Ann Padgett-Pelt and husband Robert Pelt, and Gina Lee Padgett; grandchildren, Robert Allen Pelt, Jeremy Cole Pelt and wife Lea Ann Pelt, and Kristen Nicole Padgett. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, Robert Lane Pelt, Rylan Chandler Pelt, Preslea Annysten Pelt, and Nevaeh Nicole Lewis.

Services to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Monday, November 8, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Jeremy Pelt. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

In place of flowers, the family asks you give a donation to a local charity of your choice.
