James Albert Farrell

Funeral services for James Albert Farrell, 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Farrell of 12 Madison street, will be held at the chapel of the Thomas McAfee Funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Dr. C. Frank Pittman. Interment will be in Springwood cemetery.

The child died at a local hospital Tuesday night from drowning when he fell in a washed-out hole around which he and two playmates were playing off West Washington street a few hours earlier.

For a number of years the family had lived in Greenville, Mrs. Farrell was Miss Nellie Boiter before her marriage.

The child attended the beginner's Sunday school class at Central Baptist church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters and two brothers.

Awaiting the service the body is at the residence.
