Katie Reynolds, 77, of Springfield, died at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg.
Katie was born May 24, 1944, in Pleasant Plains, IL, the daughter of Benjamin and Katie Cauvill. She married Jerry Reynolds on June 2, 1962.
Katie graduated from St. John's College of Nursing and was employed as an LPN in Pediatrics at St. John's Hospital for 28 years. She was a caring, loving, and family-oriented person. Katie enjoyed ceramics, flower arrangements, collecting Mickey and Minnie memorabilia, and dolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and five sisters.
Katie is survived by her husband, three children, eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Cremation rites accorded.
