FRED G. HOLTZEN

Fred Gustav Holtzen, 85, died Wednesday at the residence of his son, Rufus Holtzen, 2501 Jones street (sic), with whom he had made his home for the last 25 years.

Mr. Holtzen was born August 13, 1873, at Cole Camp, Mo. He married Martha Holthusen at Cole Camp in 1898.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church (sic).

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Rufus Sioux City and Herman of Aurora, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Ella Panietz of Hampton, Neb., and Mrs. Leona Voss of Hebron, Neb.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Nelson-Berger north side funeral home, Rev. W.P. Haak, Lutheran hospital chaplain, will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial park (sic) cemetery (sic). Pallbearers will be six grandsons.
