W.T. Curry, a well known resident of Oxford, Kansas, died at the Oxford hospital early Saturday morning, April 30, 1921, aged 81 years, 7 months and 2 days. He was one of eleven children, two brothers and two sisters of whom are still living. He was married to Miss Ellen Anderson, of Otwell, Indiana, April 2, 1865. To them were born seven children, two sons and one daughter being alive at the time of his death. He moved from Missouri to the eastern part of Kansas quite a while ago and from there to Sumner county, where he has lived the last fifteen or twenty years. He professed conversion and joined the United Brethren church when about fifteen years of age, and afterwards placed his membership with the Methodist Episcopal church, of which he remained a member until his death. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Oxford Sunday afternoon, by Rev. George Watts, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Oxford cemetery.
