Services for Garold Charles Hughes, 80, of Tigard, were held today at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Tigard. A private cremation will follow.
Mr. Hughes was born February 11, 1904, at Devils Lake, North Dakota, and died July 12, at Tigard. In 1978, after retiring as a second hand furniture dealer, he and his wife, Belva, moved to North Bend where they resided until May of 1984, before moving to the Tigard area. He was a past member of the Orenomah Masonic Lodge AF&AM, and a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Tigard.
Survivors include his wife, Belva Hughes of Tigard; a daughter, Barbara I Schultz of Tigard; and a sister, Lillian Fleisher of Everett, Washington.
