Douglas Harold Maschino, 71, of Rockwell City passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

A memorial service is planned for Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. There will be a visitation one hour prior beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Doug was born on December 25, 1949 to Harold and Almary (Bischoff) Maschino in Fort Dodge. He was a graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and Iowa Central Community College. Doug served in the United States Navy stationed in San Diego, CA. He started his Automotive career in 1973 with Tom Kelly Ford and went on to work for several other car dealerships around the midwest. Doug retired from the automotive industry in 2011 and enjoyed fixing things on his acreage in Rockwell City.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Maschino.

Survivors include his mother Almary Maschino of Pomeroy; his brothers Curt Maschino of Fort Dodge, Tom Maschino of Adventura, FL, Nick and Melissa Maschino of Fort Dodge, and one sister Amy Hagerman of Naperville, IL.; 5 nephews and 4 nieces.
