Funeral services for Mrs. Lue Combs Prevatt, wife of W. K. Prevatt of Glen St. Mary, who died suddenly, April 1st (1933) were conducted at Taylor Sunday by Elder W.R. Rhoden.

Mrs Prevatt was born at Taylor on March 25, 1869 and was married to Wm. Kell Prevatt in 1886. To this union was born 17 children, 12 of whom are living: John, William, James of Glen St. Mary and Chas. of Manning, Mrs. Claude Scoles of Glen St. Mary, Mrs. Frank Combs of Sanderson, Mrs. Ernest Johns and Mrs. Jerry Combs of Macclenny, Mrs. Ora Harvey and Mrs. Brown Gainey of Jacksonville, Mrs. Raiford Harris of Baldwin, and Cleo Prevatt at home. Two brothers J.J. Combs of Glen St. Mary and Lonnie Combs of Jacksonville, five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Johns of Glen St. Mary, Mrs. Chass Phiffer and Mrs. Ida Plummer of Jacksonville, Mrs. Jessie Dort of Lake City, Mrs. Lillian Cox of Tampa.
