Cheryl Ann Goodwin, 62, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Cheryl was born on March 11, 1959 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Jimmie Edgar and Barbara Sue Johnson Porter. She attended high school in Assumption, IL. Cheryl began working as a bartender at the Spigot and then Sit N Sip both in Shelbyville. She later worked in the dietary department at Shelby Memorial Hospital and at the Villas of Holly Brook both in Shelbyville, IL. She was a member of Moose Lodge #1294 of Shelbyville. Cheryl loved people and never met a stranger. She enjoyed baking for others. Cheryl married Danny Goodwin on May 28, 1999.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Independence Cemetery, Ramsey, IL.
