Curtis N. Anderson, 85, of Sandborn, Indiana, went to Heaven on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. He was born on August 25, 1936, in Knox County, Indiana to John Joshua and Cynthia (Burress) Anderson. Curt married his loving wife, Maye L. (Crane) Anderson on August 24, 1958.

Curt was a member of the Sandborn Christian Church where he had served as Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and youth leader; past president of the Sandborn Lions Club, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a lifelong farmer, the Stafford Township Trustee, and had also managed the Park Inn Motel. He served on the L&M and WRV school boards for many years.

Family left to cherish the memory of Curt include: his wife, Maye Anderson; son, Steven (Alisa) Anderson and daughter, Susan (Brent) Waggoner, both of Sandborn; grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Jessica (Brad) Spencer, David (Teal) Summitt, Noah Summitt, Kayla (Melvin) Hall, and Kara (Christopher) Westfall. Great-grandchildren, Jayvian Summitt, Kyren and Keaira Hall, Ella and Eli Westfall, Taryn Summitt, Barron Spencer, and another great-grandson Spencer (soon to be born); brothers, John Anderson,II of Lubbock, TX and David (Heidi) Anderson of Linton; sisters-in-law, Babe Anderson of Westphalia and Alice Ann Anderson of Sandborn; several nieces and nephews.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sherman (Marjorie), twins Wayne and Wendell, and Bryce Abe (Barbara) Anderson; sisters, Virginia (Stan) Stanton, Marjorie (Steve) Stevens and Delores (Bill) Hollingsworth.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn with Bryan Sanders officiating. There will no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandborn Christian Church or the Sandborn Lions Club. Contributions may be mailed to the funeral home.
