Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Southside Family Life Center with Terry Alan Jones and Bryan Dill officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Southside Family Life Center. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Elkton, KY she was born July 3, 1950 the daughter of the late William T. Oakes and Martha Vass Oakes. Judy was the bookkeeper for Creekland Farms, and she loved spending time taking care of and raising her family. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ, in Hopkinsville, KY.
Survivors include her husband: Tim Arvin; her son: Phillip (Martha) Arvin of Pembroke, KY; her daughters: Karen Arvin of Pembroke, KY and Erica McBeth of Scottsdale, AZ; her sisters: Sarah (Daniel) Bolinger of Pembroke, Linda (William) Turner of Trenton, KY, Rebecca Turner of Russellville, KY and her three grandchildren: William Arvin, Emma Huddleston and Avery Arvin.
