Leslie Phillip Smith was born January 14, 1962, in Broken Bow, NE to Phillip and Cheryl (Bailey) Smith. Les attended grade school in Berwyn, NE and then went on and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1980. After high school Les went to Western Community College in Sidney, NE for two years.
Les liked all sports two of his favorites where Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Les enjoyed Mustang cars, Labrador dogs, and horses. Les helped coach his kids through their sporting events when they were growing up.
Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
