Milton B. Brooks, seventy-two, 250 N. Reservoir St., died at his home this morning at 12:15 o'clock of a complication of diseases after a brief illness. He was born in Providence Township, a son of the late Benjamin and Catherine Bleecher Brooks. He was a carpenter by trade and was maintenance man at the Lancaster County home for 40 years. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Besides his wife, the former Mary Smith, he is survived by these children: Charles E., of Lancaster R3; Elvin L., this city; Dorothy, wife of John F. Hahn; and Jeannette, wife of Marris E. Keene, of this city; also nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. (Lancaster New Era - Mar 18, 1946)
