Peter Pallange was born 29 September 1840 in Belgium-- that part of Belgium to the east that is called Luxemburg. It was detached from the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg at the time of the creation of Belgium after Napoleon. His father was Christopher Pallange and his mother Margaret Dou, both born in Belgium. He died January 30, 1816 after having been in California 5 months. He lived with Grandma Seely and Pop at 719 Jefferson. Cause of death according to E. Chaplin, M. D. was acute indigestion. He was buried February 3, 1916 in Union Cemetery at Lot 72-- Crowes Redwood City Undertaking Company handling arrangements.
