Throughout his life, Chuck had a variety of jobs. One of his first jobs was for Kent State University in the Landscaping Department. Later, he worked for the Mantaline Corporation in Mantua. In 2017, he retired from full-time work while at the Hattie Larlham Center in Mantua. For the past few years, Chuck worked part-time delivering parts for the NAPA store in Streetsboro.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Christine Nichols, of Freedom Township whom he married in 1982; son, Mike (Marshelle) Nichols of Windsor, CO; step-daughter, Jennifer Nichols of Ravenna; father, Charles Nichols of Kent; brother Ed (Vicki) Nichols of Munroe Falls; sister Jan (Jim) McGinnis of Beaver, PA; and granddaughters Addyson Simons of Deerfield and Maddison Nichols of Windsor, CO.
Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth, and son, Matt.
Cremation has taken place, and a "Celebration of Life" will take place at a later date. Thanks to all who knew and loved Chuck during his life. We will miss him.
