Mark P. Dewey. Ohio -- (Special) -- Services for Mark P. Dewey, 88, who died in Princeton Hospital Monday morning after a brief illness, were held this afternoon in the family home in Ohio with the Rev. Earl Edwards, Amboy, officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Ohio.
He was born Nov. 26, 1868, on a farm east of Ohio, the son of Martin and August Pomeroy Dewey. He married Margaret Inks on Sept. 16, 1890. She preceded him in death in 1935.
Also preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Wert S. Dewey and Seth A. Dewey; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Rowe, and a grandson, R. Dewey Sisler, who was killed on Luzon in 1945 during World War II.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Juanita) Hey, Ohio, and Mrs. Mark (Darlene) Sisler, Ohio, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Norman (Margaret Joyce) Stewart, Topango Canyon, Calif.
