Ethel Irene Simpson Suber

MOULTRIE - Ethel Irene Simpson Suber, 85, of Moultrie, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, at Baker Funeral Home chapel with interment at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Suber was born April 8, 1922, in Mitchell County, daughter of the late C.A. Simpson and Fannie Mae Tipper Simpson. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Emery J. Suber of Moultrie; one son, Lonnie Horton and wife Carrie of Moultrie; one daughter, Helen Chafin and husband Mark of Moultrie; two sisters, Eunice Hopkins of Meigs and Esther Mae Justice of Albany; three grandchildren, Johnny Horton of Moultrie, Sandra Overman of Valdosta and LeAnn Horton Davis of Moultrie; and six great-grandchildren, Matthew Overman, Katie Overman, Sidney Horton, Justin Strickland, Ryan Mathis and Tristan Davis.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Suber was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
