Patricia Gayle Evans, 74 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, December 12th, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. Evans was born on June 6th, 1947, to Jim Washington and Virgie Lee Hames Eaves.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her children Lawanda Ball (Jason), Carla Brooks (Glenn), Stanley Evans (Jennifer), and Randy Evans (Sherry); grandchildren Troy Evans (Savanna), Tracie Thompson (Stanley), Jesse Evans, Allison Brooks, Colt Ball, and Evan Brooks; great-grandchildren Kimber Thompson, Case Thompson, Tuck Evans, and Clint Thompson; siblings Joyce Schrimsher, Betty Brackeen, Dave Eaves, Bob Eaves, and Sandra Swartz; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Redus Evans; son Craig Evans, and siblings Dorothy Allen, Linda Vining, and Bill Eaves.
Funeral services for Mrs. Evans will be held on Thursday, December 16th, 2021, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Robert Fudge and Jimmy Butler officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15th, from 6:00-9:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Athens Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Evans loved making flowers, but she especially loved spending time with her grandkids.
