MASON CITY - Brenda J. Jones, 55, of Mason City, passed away December 13, 2021 at 11:39 a.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL surrounded by her family.
She was born March 22, 1966 in Lincoln, to Jack O. and Bonnie (Leininger) Jones.
She graduated from Mason City High School in 1985, from Spoon River College in Canton, and St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mason City.
Surviving is her mother; her two sons; two grandsons; a brother; significant other and a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father Jack O. Jones.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Mason City with Pastor Luke Wolford officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday December 16, 2021 also at the church. Burial will take place at Mason City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Mason City.
