Edison D. Morgan, 86, of Brevard, formerly of Mills River, died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Morgan was born in Buncombe County and was a son of Harry Mitchell and Blanche Plemmons Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Riddle Morgan, who died in 2002, and by a sister, Maletia Young.
Mr. Morgan served in the US Army during WW II and was a Purple Heart recipient.
He was a self employed trucker in the dairy industry.
Edison was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery, Leicester.
