Billy was a lifelong farmer and was employed for 29 years at A.O. Smith Electrical Products. He was a member of the Stulltown Community Church and enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers; Dailey Carpenter, Earl Thomas Carpenter, Henry Carpenter and Roy Carpenter Jr., two sisters, Ethel Fraizer and Florence Barnes...
